    Many years ago I tried my hand at metal detecting. I was always on the adventurous side and loved the idea of a treasure hunt. It was a way to investigate the history of many areas and detect for old or new lost items. This also started my collecting of unique pieces of wood/driftwood, rocks, fossils, shells and anything else Mother Nature impressed me with. Needless to say, the beauty in nature is everywhere.

   Years later the artistic side of me wanted some time. So, I started to sort through my collection of items found, along with the unique antique/retro items I had also collected through the years. I decided to take a time out for my creative side and love every minute of it!
